Hey, my name is David Podorefsky. I was born in the mid 90's and learned how to use a computer soon after. In the glory days I was a film maker and made silent films of a Charlie Chaplin knock off named Mr. Moustachio and used green screens as invisibility cloaks. I had a top YouTube channel at age ten and taught over 140k how to make the paper ninja star. I had my share with film photography on my SLR Pentax K1000, digital photography/videography with my DSLR, and confocal laser scanning microscopy. I was the front man of an alternative funk rock band in high school called Merge Left and a side project called Last Minute, where I played the guitar and vocals - find our EP on Bandcamp and Soundcloud. These days I am a Chemical engineering PhD candidate in Santa Barbara, CA, sequencing the epigenome of single cells.
